7:00 AM to 8:00 AM
Dining hall open for Breakfast.

9:00 AM
Opening ceremony.

10:00 AM
Event briefing (everyone welcome)

• Introduce Jury Members
• What to expect during event and rules briefing.
• Briefing on the Starting process.
• Safety briefing.
• Any information about events that needs to be disseminated.
• Question and answer session.
• Bib's handed out to contestants.

11:00 AM
Jury and team captains meet (everyone welcome)

• Establish starting order for 2-meter event via lottery.
• Establish starting order for 80-meter event via lottery.
• Announce and post the starting order.

12:00 Noon - 1:00PM
Dining hall open for lunch.

1:00 PM
Practice transmitters go on air.

1:00 PM
Training sessions and equipment checkout.

5:00 PM - 6:PM
Dining hall open for dinner.

6:00 PM
Socialize and free time.

Thursday, August 2, 2001

Dining hall open for Breakfast.

Officials at hunt site place transmitters in position

8:00 AM
Bus starts loading at UNM.

8:25 AM
Bus departs for 2 meter hunt site.

9:50 AM
Bus arrives at 2 Meter hunt site.

9:50 AM
Equipment impounded.

10:00 AM
Transmitters are on the air.

10:30 AM
AM First contestants starts.

(Lunch will be waiting for participants at the finish line)

Jury meets and certifies results.

~4:30 PM
Bus loads and departs from event site.

~5:45 PM
Bus back in Albuquerque and stops at Furrs family dining (cafeteria all you can eat buffet). for dinner.

~ 7:00 PM
Bus returns to UNM.

~7:00 PM
Socialize, free time.

Awards banquet and awards presentation starts.
